Move from “imposter” to “confident”

The UnStuck EMDR Consultation Framework supports clinicians who have completed their basic training, but are stuck in early phases or finding their clients looping. Social workers and therapists seek me out for professional consultation when they are offering clinical supervision for the first time, and as they step into management positions.

With a passion for supporting clinicians’ professional development, I have supervised social workers, mental health counselors, clinical supervisors, and case managers in New York City and Denver, Colorado since 2017. It is one of my greatest passions as a social worker and EMDR therapist to be able to support other clinicians in the field develop confidence in their work and improve their clients’ wellbeing.

My accomplishments include supporting newly trained EMDR clinicians to become confident, certified EMDR practitioners. As a professional consultant, I have trained non-profit staff in trauma-informed crisis response, effective and ethical clinical documentation, and case conceptualization. Over 30 practitioners have progressed in their careers through supervision and consultation with me.

Individual consultation: $185 per hour

I contract with agencies to provide consultation, training, and clinical supervision in NYC and Denver. Group rate: $93 per person per hour (4 participants max).

A moment that REALLY clicked for me was when I was talking to you about my discomfort and issues with overbooking my clients in my admin time. The pivotal moment for me was when I was talking to you about these struggles and just like really upset and you were like, ‘but that’s your time that you’re giving away.’ And I never looked at admin time like that but it’s so true it’s actually sacred, and since then I’ve had an easier time saying know and viewing admin time and breaks during the day as necessary to both me and consequently my clients. Now I feel more prepared to lay boundaries than I ever have, and I don’t feel guilty about it.
