Meet Skye: EMDR Therapy for Burned Out Healthcare Professionals in Denver, CO
When you’re a woman facing burnout, it looks different
You’ve noticed that you’re angry all the time, short with your partner and kids, and downright exhausted.
You push through stress at work all day and come home needing to detach, but your life at home requires your attention, too. You just don’t have it in you to do both well anymore. You’re seeking therapy for burnout in Denver to feel like you again.
I focus my work on high-achieving healthcare professionals, therapists, and parents because I’ve experienced the burnout in community healthcare settings, too.
The work we do in these settings is deeply meaningful, but it can also feel soul-crushing to see the impacts of different systems on the people we serve, our brilliant colleagues, and ourselves.
After I made it through my burnout, I sought out advanced training to support people going through what I experienced because you’re my people. Now, I’m an advanced practitioner who specializes in supporting parents and caring professionals (nurses, physicians, social workers, and therapists). Your job and the systems you work and live within can feel unrelenting. Let’s work together to reconnect you to your “why” at work and your energy with your loved ones.
When women in healthcare and other high-achieving professions are looking for a burnout therapist in Denver, they want to know their therapist knows what she’s doing. As an EMDR consultant-in-training, I don’t just “do” EMDR, I live in the mechanics of it. When you come to me for healing, know you are getting a clinician who understands the EMDR protocol at the highest level and has advanced skill in addressing your burnout and job-related trauma.

I spent 11 years working in community-based non-profits in NYC and Colorado, so I know a little something about the burnout that can come with that work.
I’ve been the social worker in middle management in more than one organization that didn’t do enough to value its clinical staff.
I know what it feels like to push against a system that seems designed to silence you.
Wondering whether the anger and distress you feel is your own, your last client’s, or just the weight of the whole system crashing down on you.
I have been the mom who comes home and has nothing left to give. Every word has come out of my mouth with tone, too.
And I know how freeing it is to find a way to reconnect with yourself and your values to forge forward.

About Me As A Human

Outside of my practice, you can find me momming two young girls, running, hiking, or biking. In true Denver fashion, you can find us at the local climbing gym. I’m also an avid reader and committed book club attendee.
Beyond my normal, day-to-day life, I love to travel, spend time outdoors, and eat my way through the world. A major life accomplishment was getting my scuba certification in 2025 to take a bucket list vacation with my partner.
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and spent 6.5 years living in Denver. I’ve spent almost every summer of my life in Saco, ME and my kids love it there, too. I feel fortunate to support the healthcare professionals, social workers, and therapists in the communities that have shaped who I am.
I offer therapy and professional consultation. Which can I help you with today?
